With the line of Acura MDX parts now available on the market, Acura MDX owners no longer have to worry about their MDX needs. Introduced in late 2000, the Acura MDX is a unique luxury car, which features an automatic four-wheel drive system and is designed to hold up to 8 passengers. In its system’s uniqueness, the Acura MDX is able to detect wheel slippery condition. In case the system registers slipperiness, which may be hazardous for the driver and passengers, MDX shifts immediately into front-wheel drive, even under normal operations.

It is not surprising that the Acura MDX won the “Best Luxury Sport-Utility Vehicle” and “Sport/Utility of the Year” in 2001. Like other Acura models, the MDX is loaded with highly-technological components such as the XM satellite radio, Bluetooth hands-free cell phone system, enhanced stability control system, and a larger fuel tank. These MDX accessories and parts are the main reasons why a vehicle model like Acura MDX needs authentic Acura MDX parts to keep it in tiptop shape.

There are several Acura MDX performance parts, Acura MDX replacement parts, Acura MDX Aftermarket parts, and Acura MDX body parts, which can take the full advantage of each Acura MDX vehicle. Classic Acura MDX parts such as the wheel hub assembly, alternator, air filter, and muffler, radiator hose, horn, brake master cylinder, or the axle assembly are readily available online.

One can opt to replace struts with the Acura MDX front strut assembly. This will ensure better consistency in driving especially on bumpy roads. On the other hand, if one wants to go extreme, having an Acura MDX part like the Acura MDX Lambo Door Kit is an option. Installing gives the true Lamborghini feel, as it features a 90-degree weld-on door conversion kit. The possibilities are just endless with Acura MDX parts.

Evander Klum asked:

The Acura motor mount is a simple yet essential component that helps keep a vehicle functioning properly. It spares other car components from the damage that may be caused by the movements of the car engine.

Car engines have a truly powerful thrust and their horsepower can allow the car to go quite a long way. On the other hand, it also gives off so much force that can cause the engine to shift in the engine compartment, damaging some parts and loosening others. In some cases, the engine may even end up destroying a few components, here and there, particularly when engine vibrations are left unrestrained. Hence, if not for the grip of a reliable motor mount, numerous car components are sure to suffer. The Acura motor mount is guaranteed to keep the car motors secured, keeping the motor’s horsepower to drive the car for a fair distance. The Acura motor mount is made of tough steel and is equipped with a heavy rubber insert to help absorb and cushion strong engine vibrations. By isolating the vibration from the vehicle’s chassis, the Acura motor mount is able to prevent it from spreading throughout other system parts of the vehicle. As a result, the stress felt by the car’s many sensitive components is greatly reduced. This also keeps the parts from easily getting worn out.

Having a set of Acura motor mount that exhibits excellent quality is important. A faulty motor mount can allow excessive shifting of the engine to take place, resulting to vibrations which can cause serious vehicle troubles. This is why a regular inspection of crucial components such as motor mounts is highly advised for car owners. Most motor mounts last an average car run of 60,000 miles. An Acura motor mount is tested to last for years. It even surpasses the other motor mount’s lifespan of around 60,000 miles. But of course, since time will eventually wear it out, it is only natural to have to replace the Acura motor mount when it finally gives out.

I have a 2008 Acura TSX. I speak clear English without an accent of any kind. The car rarely picks up the phone numbers that I recite to it correctly. Is there any way to increase the car’s ability to understand what I’m saying (such as a training mode)?

2008 Acura Tsx: the Lure

Evander Klum asked:

Acura, the luxury brand of Honda Motor Co., offers a new lure in the all-new TSX. The near-premium sports sedan flaunts taut design, razor-sharp reflexes, cutting-edge technology and a long lost of standard luxury features.

The modifications made to the gorgeous sports sedan are aimed at winning over shoppers and enthusiasts. The 2008 TSX continues the exceptional blend of style, performance and efficiency that has helped it attract many new drivers from other players in the sports sedan market.

“The TSX has clearly established itself as a serious player in the sports sedan segment,” said Dick Colliver, the executive vice president for sales. “It serves as a critical entry point into the Acura brand for thousands of new luxury customers each year, and delivers in spades on the advanced performance, technology and style of Acura.”

The new TSX is powered by an advanced and efficient 2.4-liter DOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine producing 205 horsepower and 164 lb-ft of torque, delivering performance on par with many 6-cylinder powerplants. The computer-controlled i-VTEC “intelligent” intake/exhaust valve actuation system delivers improved performance across a broad powerband.

The TSX engine is also equipped with Drive-By-Wire Throttle technology that helps bolster the car’s performance, efficiency and enhanced driver control. Along with its remarkable horsepower output, the car with manual transmission has an EPA fuel economy rating of 19/28 mpg city/highway. Additionally, the automatic transmission version of the car has a rating of 20/28 mpg.

The 2008 TSX is also equipped with air-assisted fuel injectors, a uniquely positioned under floor catalytic converter, and a high-flow stainless-steel exhaust manifold help the TSX achieve the U.S. EPA’s stringent Tier 2-Bin 5 (and CARB LEV-2) exhaust emissions standards.

To offer stability and outstanding stopping power, the new TSX is equipped with large 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS, 17-inch alloy wheels and Michelin all-season high-performance tires mated to Acura belts.

On the outside, the TSX shows off dynamic curves and crisp lines. To boost design cues, the sports sedan is given the signature 5-sided Acura grille, angular side markers and bumper-integrated fog lamps. In the rear, the taillights slope to meet a short, high trunk lid that terminates sharply to help air separate cleanly off the back of the car at speed. Stylish nine-spoke, 17-inch alloy wheels finish the TSX’s sporty appearance.

Parts of its safety features like the refined and highly responsive suspension, steering and braking systems, the TSX comes equipped with standard Vehicle Stability Assist™ (VSA®), anti-lock brakes (ABS) and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

In the event of a crash, the car uses multiple advanced safety technologies to help absorb and redirect the energy of the crash. These technologies include dual-stage, dual-threshold driver and front passenger airbags along with side airbags for the driver and front passenger. The passenger side airbag features an Occupant Position Detection System (OPDS) to preclude airbag deployment if a child or small-stature adult leans into the deployment path. What is more, the car is also equipped with side curtain airbags to help protect occupants from head and neck injuries in the event of a significant side impact.

These features, working in conjunction with the vehicle’s energy-absorbing body structure, help the car graner a NHTSA 5-star rating in U.S. government’s frontal crash test along with a Good rating in the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s (IIHS) 40mph frontal offset test.

The Acura TSX, a product line built by Honda, was unveiled in April 2003. The car is sold in North America to rival entry-level luxury car flagship such as the Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, Lexus IS, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Saab 9-3, and the Volvo S40.

Buying Suvs From Car Dealers

Jerick Brooks asked:

When you finally decide to buy a new SUV in replace for your old one, say you would want to replace your Acura RDX or Acura MDX, because the Acura muffler is not functioning well despite several maintenance and repair strategies, consider car buying tips that would not be costly on your part.

Make some researches. After narrowing down your choices of vehicles, research their prices on popular sites like Kellys Blue Book, Edmunds, Yahoo Auto Finance, etc. Doing this will help you decide properly as to which car is within the reach of your capacity to pay.

Test Drive the car you are planning to buy. Make sure before you start negotiating on pricing, you test drive the vehicle you want to purchase. This will help you further negotiate the price.

Test drive during day time to inspect well the car inside and out. Also a good way to test is through taking it on a road where there is less traffic noise.

Then, negotiate. Do not let the car dealer know you have done some researches on the prices of different cars because they will an immediate idea as to how price your chosen car. Let the dealer first give a price, then, try to narrow it down.

Financing is the next step. The car dealer might take you to the finance manager and they might tell you they deal with you’re bank and will get you the best possible rate. That is certainly not reliable. A bank does not deal with dealers. So the best way is to see first a bank representative before stating the financing scheme for the new car and inform them you will be making a car deal and you alone will be making the deal.

If you are considering trading your old vehicle in for the new SUV, don’t let the dealer know that upfront. Negotiate your price for the car you want first, and then at the end of the discussion, trade in.

Remember the dealer doesn’t sell at a loss. Don’t feel guilty or let the dealer make you feel guilty in any way.

If you are really economizing, do not buy those “add ons”. These are extended warranties and car accessories. You can use you car even without those. But, if in case your financial capacity already permits you, then buy those. After all, those add the luxury and the personality of your car.
