I need help to know whats wrong with my 1990 acura integra?

Well i bought my 1990 acura integra and little soon after it started having some problems. The gear light for S3 turns on in the dash i was wondering what does that mean and how could i fix it. Any solutions to this problem?

      The shifter its gotta be an auto for that to occur.
